"I had a good feeling about the place..."
I had a good feeling about the place as soon as the appointment got going. The staff seemed to really know what they were doing and checked everything carefully, which made me feel reassured. It just felt like they were being properly thorough rather than rushing through it.

"Quick fix, friendly service"
I went back in for a small adjustment and they got it sorted quickly. The staff were nice and easy to deal with, which I appreciated. The only thing was having to wait a little longer than I expected, but overall it felt like a decent experience.

"Felt rushed and left more confused"
I went in hoping for a straightforward eye check, but I left feeling mentally drained. The optometrist seemed rushed and didn’t really take the time to explain much. My new prescription feels a little off, and when I tried asking questions, it kind of felt like they just wanted to move on to the next person. The staff were nice enough, but I expected a lot more from the actual exam.

"Showed up fast, at least"
The lenses arrived quickly, so I can’t blame them for the delivery side of things. that’s about the only part they didn’t mess up. No major dramas getting them, but I’m still annoyed that this seems to be the only thing they managed to get right.
"A bit disappointed with the lens quality"
I got my new glasses from Specsavers i was really hoping to love them. They seemed fine at first, but the lenses started picking up tiny scratches quickly, which was so frustrating because I’m careful with them and usually keep them in the case. I also noticed some glare and a bit of blur around the edges that I never had with my old pair. The staff were friendly enough, so no issue there, but I felt let down by the lens quality for the price. I probably wouldn’t go for the same type again

The promos looked really good at first, and I did end up saving a little on my glasses. But the extras added up faster than I expected. Not sure how to explain it, but it just didn’t feel quite as cheap in the end as the deal made it seem

"Frustrating Lack of Communication"
I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect basic updates when you’re dealing with a service. I had to chase them for information, my calls weren’t returned, and no one really explained what was going on. It was frustrating and made the whole thing way harder than it needed to be.

"Warranty issue took way longer than it should have"
My glasses had an issue while still under warranty, but for some reason Specsavers made the whole process feel much harder than it needed to be. I kept getting different answers depending on who I spoke to, and it all dragged on a bit. It did get sorted in the end, but it wasn’t a great experience.

"Quick fix, super easy"
Stopped in because my glasses kept sliding down my nose. So annoying. The staff were really nice about it, took them back, adjusted them in just a few minutes. No fuss, no making it a big thing. Put them on after and they actually stayed in place. Much better now. Happy I went in.

"Refund took ages and made me lose trust"
I bought a pair of glasses from specsavers.com and ended up needing to return them. I was told the refund would be sorted within a certain timeframe, but it dragged on for much longer than expected. After I’d already paid, it felt like I had to keep pushing just to get any real update, which made me distrustful of the whole process. Customer service kept giving me the same generic replies every time I followed up, so it got really frustrating. Not the experience I expected at all.

"Long wait even with an appointment"
I booked ahead but still ended up waiting way past my appointment time, and no one really told me what was going on. I understand places can have busy days, but based on this visit, it seems like they don’t have the timing very well organized. It felt messy and made booking in advance feel pointless. I left annoyed and probably wouldn’t hurry back unless they get the waiting times under control.

"Repairs dragged on and the replacement was a pain"
I went in to get my glasses repaired because the arm had come loose, and they made it sound like it would be a quick, simple fix. After that, I barely heard anything unless I chased them myself, which got frustrating fast.
When they eventually told me they couldn’t repair them, the replacement process wasn’t any better. Different staff gave me different answers, and it felt like they made it my problem to figure out what was happening.
In the end, I paid more than I expected and still had to wait days to get sorted. Really disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t go back to Specsavers for repairs or replacements.

I booked my eye test online in just a few minutes or so. There were plenty of times to choose from, and the confirmation came through almost straight away. Overall, it was a smooth experience.

"It’s not perfect, but it gets…"
It’s not perfect, but it gets the job done for now. I’ve had a few issues that make it a bit frustrating to use, if things don’t improve, I might start looking for another option. For the moment, it’s usable, but I’m not sure I’d stick around long-term.

"Wish I’d Booked Sooner"
I got an appointment quickly and there wasn’t any fuss at all. my only regret is not reaching out sooner because the whole thing was way easier than I expected.

I still remember how frustrated I felt waiting for this order to show up. They said it would arrive much sooner, but it ended up taking ages. I kept having to check on it myself, which got really annoying after a while. Not the smoothest experience.

I had a good browse on specsavers.com. There was a decent mix of frames. Not just the same boring styles. I found a few that actually suited my face. The only downside was that some looked a bit too similar. So it took me a while to choose. Still happy overall.

"Glasses didn’t really live up to the price"
I got my glasses from Specsavers and at first they seemed to fit okay, but after a few weeks the frames started feeling loose. The lenses smudge really easily too and feel a bit cheap. What made it more frustrating was getting different answers depending on who I spoke to, which didn’t really help. The staff were polite enough, but for the price I expected the glasses to be better quality.

The prices were easy to understand, both online and in the store, so I wasn’t standing there trying to guess what the frames would actually cost. A few of the extras did add up a little, yeah, but the staff explained everything before I paid. Overall, I was happy with the experience.

"Actually worth the money"
I’ll be honest, I thought it might be a bit overpriced at first, and they don’t exactly make it easy to tell if it’s worth it upfront. But after using it, I have to admit it’s genuinely worth the money.
